Ms. Seema Chaturvedi

Ms. Chaturvedi has over 17 years of capital markets and financial management experience as an investment banker and corporate finance advisor. She is the Founder & Managing Director of Accelerator Group.

Prior to founding Accelerator, she was Senior Consultant at Amherst Capital Partners, LLC an investment-banking firm. She worked on merger, acquisition and business combination transactions with companies. As an associate with Shearson Lehman she worked in the investment banking practice. As an investment banker with JM Financial Services (Indian affiliate of Morgan Stanley Dean Witter) she guided corporate clients to access financial markets and successfully raised capital through private placements and public capital markets.

Ms. Chaturvedi has successfully initiated, promoted and co-founded with local and national industry leaders, the Detroit Chapter of The IndUS Entrepreneurs and is the current President. She is a member of the Board of Directors of I-Team, a Michigan Directorship organization and co-chaired MI IT Summit 2002. She serves on the Board of TiE Global and Automation Alley. She has spoken at several national & international forums including the 1st Pravasi Bharatiya Divas.

Ms. Chaturvedi holds a Masters degree in Finance from Boston College and an undergraduate degree with honors in Economics from Delhi University in India. Ms. Chaturvedi was named to Crain’s Detroit Business “40 under 40” list in 2001. In 2002, Ms. Chaturvedi was named to Crain’s Detroit Business “Detroit’s Most Influential Business Women” list. In 2004, Ms. Chaturvedi was recognized as one of ‘Detroit’s Most Enterprising Women’ by Detroit Historical Society.
